All I know is Texas versus Nebraska is gonna be a slugfest Sunday. Both teams have time to rest and be fresh for first serve. John cook got an early start with a little shuteye during this match. 😉

Honestly, I remember when Wisconsin made that tone deaf post on social media after Stucky got injured! Also lol at you being mad at Wisconsin's social media team. Again, I, as well as every Wisconsin fan, was really sad that Stucky got hurt. But your truth is your truth. EDIT: Okay, maybe *almost* every Wisconsin fan, there are a few running around here who are real DBs. |

Did not expect that! Was expecting to see 2 Big 10 teams in the final when I came to Tampa. Texas was unconscious tonight.

Texas deserved to win but Izzy/Hammill so definitely not it. Wisconsin serve generally did not challenge Texas either. Wisconsin passing was all out of sorts too.
Wisconsin was significantly outplayed and out coached. The Longhorns should have been favored which I clearly stated prior to game. Even in Set 2 , Texas errors allowed Wisconsin to steal a set and at no point did it feel like Wisconsin was the better team.

It was more GG's passing breaking down, unfortunately Sarah fell apart completely. I thought she was gassed by the third set. There was that long rally where she took 3 or 4 heavy swings in a row and she was breathing hard after that. I think physically she never really recovered. |

"Homer" and "sh*t talker" are two different things - our VT base definitely is the former but I'm surprised at how many people are super-angry. There are two really bad people I can think of - mute and report them both and move on with your lives. the AI, Diva, the threatener, the Smrek stan (which in itself isn't a problem), I'm thinking at least 4 off top. Then some other borderline. Of course, if it doesn't apply, let it fly, and part of that comes with the territory, and community policing only goes so far - I get it. But also, it's not that serious. Drama and a little spice ain't bad for the sport. My team's irrelevant so, it's all i've got. Ooooh, I don't know who the AI is - gotta figure that puzzle out (don't spoil it). I'm more annoyed at our homerism when rooting for the national team, but considering that I ordered a Hilley 'Novas shirzee and may just get a Hart one to boot, I'm not exactly un-guilty. I did think Skinner should be NPOY before this game happened, for the record. Anyway, it's all good - blow off some steam. I'm sad that we really choked down the stretch but honestly Texas deserves to move on and good for them, and Madi really showed what she is made of (with a bit of a chip on her shoulder to boot lol) |

Probably GGs worst game since the non-conference season. The Texas Libero played great. All those Frank POTY (and I was one!) folks look pretty silly tonight. Congratulations Texas and damn Madi Skinner go get another one.
