Ok, I’m gonna use the word fluke here. I’m not saying Texas wouldn’t have won, but no serious volleyball fan can watch these last couple sets and think it could be replicated in any meaningful way. Texas just had that golden touch this week.

what an incredible performance by the longhorns to win the natty. for all the crap that players like swindle and wenaas got this season i think they showed up and played a very good match to help texas win the natty.
and of course, madi skinner and asija o'neal had an incredible match. they were both dominant from start to finish. what a match and what a great end to the season for them.

I'm in shock. That was amazing by Texas. I would have thought Neb comes up with a competitive set in set 3 or steals the set and then who knows what happens. But for Texas just to run through the set. Oof.
Kudos, Texas. And, kudos NEB - y'all are a young team, you'll be back and strong. Great season, ran into a buzzsaw.
