I just know eve and Tennessee are punching the air right now lolllll Tennessee aura was so weird, their chemistry seemed so off on the court and yet they were neck and neck with Texas. Unsurprisingly half their team is in the portal. |

also has anyone ever beat all top 3 overall seeds in the tourney? i’m not sure if that’s happened before I think Stanford 2016 beat 3 of the top 4 seeds |

I've always been a Husker fan since my former coach during my prep days was a Husker herself. It hurts to see the Huskers go down this way. Huskers, congratulations on an incredible season. There is so much to look forward to.
Also, I've always been on the fence about the Longhorns but this 2023 was so likable and hard to cheer against. Madi is Ms. Everything but Asjia O'neal gave fans an incredible career to fan over.
Congratulation Longhorns for earning the 2023 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

No disrespect to the Huskers, I'm a firm believer that Texas sweeping them is a huge fluke and robs the Huskers of truly accomplishing what their capable of. I've spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire regular season watching the Huskers play great volleyball it's just not fair. If the Huskers lose again I will face that the Longhorns deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the Huskers and the NCAA. /s What? Someone played the "Drink when Texas aces or Skinner kills" game. |

Ok, I’m gonna use the word fluke here. I’m not saying Texas wouldn’t have won, but no serious volleyball fan can watch these last couple sets and think it could be replicated in any meaningful way. Texas just had that golden touch this week. This is the replication of what they did Thursday. I mean I would have agreed on Thursday night but then they did the exact same thing. After watching Oregon and Texas I think Nebraska and Wisconsin need to think about trying to run a faster offense. And work on serving and receiving……..a lot. |
