OK, time to prognosticate as we wait for the next 2026 BINGO. I think Haley Burgdorf is going to be one of them [from Punzel as a refresher]: Haley Burgdorf, 6-0, St. Charles (North), Illinois; Sports Performance. Burgdorf comes from the same club that produced former Badgers like Lauren Carlini and Molly Haggerty. Burgdorf has attended camps at Wisconsin, including one on Tuesday. “She has a really polished style,” Fitzgerald said. “She’s definitely not one who is going to hit over the block. But she is so fundamentally sound. There’s not a lot of weakness to her game and she has really good on-court tangibles, connecting with her teammates and playing with a positive vibe. For a place like Wisconsin you want to get those kids on the roster. I’m a big fan of hers. She is just so smooth and she stands out just because she does everything really well.”

I could see it, though do you need a trio of 'undersized' hitters in TSC (5'10"), Vajagic (6'), and Burgdorf (6')? I know it's worked out well the past few years for Louisville, but we're not used to that these days with the Badgers!
With 3 openings remaining, and given Sheff's penchant for "ballers", I think it's something he might do. That said, Sheff works in mysterious ways. We shall see ....

I wonder if the new MBB freshman (Andrija Vukovic) and Una know each other ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I am choosing to believe that Una knows Nikola Jokic and that he will be attending a game at the Fieldhouse in a couple of years.

Notice that the byline on this was June 10. That bingo poll came out June 11. They held the announcement in their pocket for a bit. Yes they did... 😀 Things had to happen before public announcement.

Crazy that Una has played in a competitive match against Vakifbank. Still wrapping my head around that. How many incoming recruits can has that been true of?

Brief diversion: M.E. Dodge husband Hauser draining threes for Celtics.

Crazy that Una has played in a competitive match against Vakifbank. Still wrapping my head around that. How many incoming recruits can has that been true of? I suspect that Vakifbank sponsors teams involved in several levels of play. During their last Foreign Tour, Bucky played against 'VakifBank Spor Juniors'.

Badger select process is next week.
Interesting that they have a note stating: "wisconsin athletics reserves the right to review all transactions and to revoke from any account determined by wi athletics, in its sole discretion, to have purchased tickets with the primary intent to resell them." I know they went after some football tickets last year; wonder if they are serious about volleyball.
I'm curious to see if the latest round of price increases open up more tickets for availability.
