So I went down a RABBIT HOLE and broke down section by section the Revenue via donations and ticket costs. Some interesting notes: 1.) We're really not losing that much money sticking the away fans high up in the C11 section. Yearly revenue for those seats is $356 compared to $510 for the A2 seats right behind the opposing bench. I'm not sure how many seats the NCAA requires the home team to reserve but even if it's 40, that's only $6,000 a year. I can think of 1,000 reason why to stick them up there, but it seems money really isn't the reason. 2.) Padded seats are MORE than sitting closer. Wouldn't have guess that. $610 vs. $510 to sit in the B section with a padded seat vs. the A section bleacher seats. The more you know... 3.) The endline premium black seats in A section generate $334k a year in revenue. That jumps to $506k when you include the additional premium seats in Row 1 of the B section. 4.) A Sections generate ~$1.13M, B Sections ~$1.19M and C seating $1.71M. Totaling just over 4M in ticketing and donation revenue. I haven't compared this to any publicly available information. This is just a detailed educated guess. I also didn't remove revenue for seats the players pass list guest use, high school coaches free tickets, or add revenue from the students, boxes/suites, standing room only and ADA seating. The fact we charge $360 for wheelchair season tickets kinda seems... icky? 5.) The front row endline seats more or less average $200 per match. That's a lot to pay to watch Utah State get swept in 90 minutes but a bargain to see a 5 setter against Wisconsin from 10 feet away. 6.) C8, Row 20, Seat 4, has to be the worst seat in the house. 7.) The media seating in C10 would be worth about 100k a year in revenue and would add ~250 seats. if you made them cover it from... the moon. 8.) The ~210 student section tickets being where they are represent a little over $107k in lost revenue if you repurposed those for A section bleacher seats. It's really only a 32k opportunity cost if you stuck them in the rafters instead. The band costs $35k in missed revenue if you kicked them out, 10k in opportunity cost being in A over high in section C. Please god, don't change this for the sake of money. 9.) Averaged out, seats generate $517 per season in revenue from tickets and donations. That put you in the A bleacher section. Over 6,000 seats have a 'worse' view than that. Padded seats... I guess.

Next up should be Stivrins. Are there any other ex-Huskers committed to LOVB that we know of?

Just JWO, Larson and Robinson-Cook. I wish Foecke would play again. she's a bit too far retired with too little pro experience imo, fans would go crazy tho isn't she a vet or gonna be one? she'll be making more money with that than lovb would ever give her lol

With Larson, Wong-Orantes and Kubik Omaha is shaping up. I haven't seen a lot of Kubik's play in Italy but from what I've seen she looks stronger and more aggressive at the net. Based in Omaha should give Larson more one-on-one time with the Huskers as well.
