Nebraska is going to be really good this year, but it is hard to see them going undefeated in conference play. Just too many good teams in conference, and even great teams have an off night now and then. The X factor is injuries. I just hope Beason doesn't get injured. There aren't any other opposites on the roster. |

I think Nebraska loses 1-2 matches in the Big, and wins or shares title. It's a gauntlet. No team has an easy road. It would be good if the Big Ten honed teams to compete for the NCAA title. Iron sharpening iron. I just hope no team is exhausted by the end. |

Just bought my tix for my first red/white! Can’t wait to see how the pins look, what they do for the second RS, and how the MBs work, if they alternate MBs on both sides or just use a grad assistant. I’m thinking they either cross train Pierce on the right or alternate her and Krause between sets since Krause technically played opp before (though I reeeeally hope they don’t do it during the season for her senior year)

How the Red-White teams are set up has varied from year to year. Sometimes it was obviously starters versus bench with maybe one player swapping between sets. Other times teams were mixed. Sometimes it’s been only players, but Jaylen’s played in the past, as has Kelly, and some of the practice players. Sometimes Cook coaches, sometimes he gives one team to each of his assistants and leaves the bench to watch from various places.

Penn State’s schedule just came out and heir first match of the year is at Tennessee. Aside from the fact that I like both teams, it will be Caroline and Maggie vs Hayden. So excited to see how they come out swinging this year at their new homes
