She is very explosive and has great control even the sets are not perfect. American volleyball tradition raised so many great slide attackers but them dealing with bad sets weren't a big part of their tool set.
I'm only curious if Bergen&Jackson can run little bit faster tempo on slide. Nothing is fast in Nebraska volleyball but in future lol.

A bit concerning on Reilys match. Lots of head scratching moments ... placement and tempo issues .... wasn't setting a fluid game all night. I thought this might be the toughest match I've seen her play.
Landfair has lots of good potential but still inconsistent. Want too see her dominate those 3 rotations by mid season, otherwise Krause is ready to go and looked good.
Beeson just wasn't clicking with Reily.
Thought everybody else took another step forward from last season. The Littles are lethal. Pins look good, as did the middles.
They have the players to win it all. Should be a fun season to watch.
Mauch was my favorite of the match. Orr looked good. Pierce took some good swings. I saw lots of good things from everyone. When Reily gets going, watchout! Go big red

One of the truly awesome characteristics of Husker volleyball is the support for our players who transfer! It is beautiful to see the graciousness and love extended past our own scarlet and cream scene. Dont break your arm patting yourself on the back. If FAN stands for fanatic, it's perfectly ok to break your arm supporting your team. It's the Sports version of "break a leg". |

good morning to andi jackson and only andi jackson some of those slide sets were tragic and she’s still crushing them… don’t want to imagine her if they actually figure out how to set the ball not 8 feet off the net on a slide 😠and that block on Krause I can’t I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ball bounce that high after getting blocked. Linda I was rooting for you! lol |
