Just a reminder on the preseason poll and preseason all-B1G team. Do we think there will be 18 1st team all-B1G players since that's what was on the preseason list? I don't think any of those names were a big stretch then but some are now. I hope Julia Hanson makes the cut, but I don't really remember if there's a history of coaches giving players with seniority a nod instead. The conference feels loaded with senior and fifth year pins.
1. Nebraska 2. Wisconsin 3. Penn State 4. Purdue 5. Minnesota 6. Oregon 7. USC 8. UCLA 9. Ohio State 10. Indiana 11. Illinois 12. Michigan State 13. Washington 14. Maryland 15. Michigan 16. Northwestern 17. Rutgers 18. Iowa
Raina Terry, Gr., OH, Illinois Camryn Haworth, Sr., S, Indiana Melani Shaffmaster, RS-Sr., S, Minnesota MERRITT BEASON, Sr., OPP, Nebraska Taylor Landfair, Sr., OH, Nebraska Harper Murray, So., OH, Nebraska Bergen Reilly, So., S, Nebraska LEXI RODRIGUEZ, Sr., L, Nebraska Emily Londot, Fifth-Year, OH/OPP, Ohio State Mimi Colyer, Jr., OH, Oregon JESS MRUZIK, Gr., OH, Penn State Chloe Chicoine, So., OH, Purdue Eva Hudson, Jr., OH, Purdue Anna Dodson, Gr., MB, UCLA Mia Tuaniga, Sr., S, USC Carter Booth, Jr., MB, Wisconsin Sarah Franklin, Sr., OH, Wisconsin Anna Smrek, Sr., MB/OPP, Wisconsin
Unanimous selection listed in ALL CAPS (sorry if this is a trigger for Badger fans)

Carter Booth, Jr., MB, Wisconsin Sarah Franklin, Sr., OH, Wisconsin Anna Smrek, Sr., MB/OPP, Wisconsin Unanimous selection listed in ALL CAPS (sorry if this is a trigger for Badger fans) It's ok, Sarah was injured when this poll came out, so I'm sure someone had questions on if she was going to be back fully.

I'm going to gently quote you and say the tourney started Nov 30 in 2023. So, expect them to be out Dec 4 or 5.

Yeah, you're about the last Wisconsin fan I'd think of as possibly being triggered.

Shoutout to Emily Londot for all the entertainment she's brought us over the years.
She will be remembered as lots of things, but low error is not one of them.
In all seriousness, a powerful and tricky player that I'm going to have to adjust to not seeing anymore out there. One of the faces of B1G volleyball in recent seasons.
Best of luck to her!

I never would have believed that Ohio State, Indiana, Michigan State, and Michigan would land at 79, 83, 99, and 102 in the final RPI. How does this happen? Is this due to four new teams?

Hopefully this year they'll keep a similar players/teams ratio and pick 24 and 16.

Last year Indiana was #5 in conference hitting % at .227. This year there are 8 teams hitting .235 or better in B1G play.
