🤔🤔 Gattaz and Washington were the dream team middles in Tokyo ok, i stand corrected. I thought i remembered her getting it. They deserved it more oh Zehra has the most blocks, that’s what you’re thinking

I mean I know Kipp and Logan are killing it with their teams But di people really think they’re ready for the Olympics? We’ve seen before where players kill it during the club season but not really with the national team at least let them in the gym to train I mean I agree with that. Totally. But I think calling them for the Olympics is a little too early They definitely seem like the future though.

I don't think anyone is saying put them directly on the roster but our opposite problem needs a solution, and JT and Annie have not stepped up to the plate at all this quad

Million dollar VT question? (probably deserves it's own thread but I'm just not going to do that rn) Will Carlini miss out on making the Olympic roster a second time? She will miss out. She was so average in club season. Poulter would reach to Carlini's level with 2 months of training if she is physically fit. Hancock is just better with NT and also she is having better club season. All I remembered thinking was "please don't quit. Please don't quit. Please don't quit" when she got left off of Tokyo. I don't imagine she would stick around with the NT if she gets left off again...

One of her last instagram posts was basically her bidding farewell to her international pro career. Now, if LOVB brings that level of quality, who knows whats's possible, but I imagine this is her last quad, which is sad as a badger fan.

I think the problem is, does anyone know what Karch's current coaching and training philosophy is? At least "USA Fast" was a concept that people could comprehend. Sure, he was the coach for the first US women's team to win Olympic Gold, but seriously, what is the vision from "the greatest USA volleyball mind" for now and for the future? I can't think of genuinely asking that same question about any of the great volleyball coaches we've seen previously.

It’s okay guys karch has made it abundantly clear he doesn’t want a big time player. That’s why he doesn’t want Logan or Kipp bc they might be able to be elite and he doesn’t need an elite scorer bc they have balance and are gonna out team everyone

His time assisting coaching the 2008 men to gold clearly stuck with him. Modern volleyball and wild athleticism, meanwhile, has left the effectiveness of that back in the late aughts.

I saw on Twitter that Team USA was dropping something tomorrow? It can’t be the Olympic roster. Team Olympic fits? Hahaha! We’ll find out the Olympic roster from the players’ IG posts when they are boarding the plane to Paris.
