That music is the same as the Air France boarding music. Random I know... I apologize. Sounds like Fate.

day 27,969 under Karch's rule where we don't have a roster released in an appropriate time.

I'm being objective here, but does Plummer's performance warrant a starting position right now...I'm not entirely sure. It does How?

Well her 2021 summer form was elite like I said. You basically said "when has JT ever been elite before Orro, but you can't bring up JT being elite in 2021 because that would be against my generalization" if you can't see the logical fallacy in that idk what to say lol And yes her 2023 summer was better than 2022 summer, but I don't see how that's relevant? that's seems to just to distract from the fact that JT WAS elite before Orro. Because afaik 2021 summer is still (pre-Orro). Ik you're an Orro stan, but to say she made JT elite is not fair imo haha Facts remain that JT was good before Orro. It would be more accurate to say that Orro brought out that eliteness again at Milano. I feel like it’s somewhat irrelevant what she did before her injury considering she hasn’t looked as dominant as she did 2021 summer since. but yes she was elite then, as I said when I brought up the Olympic matches. (we also had the best passing in like history that summer lol) also none of this has anything to do with my original point in the fact that Orro has a better connection with JT than any USA setter, as seen by her having her best club season and stretch in general post-injury really with Milano. in the playoffs she hit over .300 against, 3 of the games coming against a really good Scandicci team and 5 more coming against the machine that is Imoco Conegliano. she scored 192 points over 32 sets (6 points per set!). over the course of the last three months of the season, she hit like .325 scoring well over 5 points per set, with MANY of the games coming against Conegliano (6x), Scandicci (4x), Vakifbank (2x), etc. post-injury, that’s by far the best she’s ever played. I was just trying to make the simple fact that JT was elite before Orro (which I think you now agree on), and not trying to make some claim that about it being relevant to anything else. It just came across like you were trying to say that JT was ONLY elite with Orro. But my original post was also just a joke that perhaps JT cannot connect with other setters because she liked Orro so much, hence Orro essentially "ending her eliteness" with other setters. I was never trying to say that Orro wasn't good with JT or anything. Just saying it could be causally explained that JT's experience with Orro left her dependent/wanting a certain style and not really learning to be adaptable to other setters or finding rhythm with them in the same capacity.

She’s a starter on the best club in the world. She’s consistently getting double digits in kills and have the heaviest arm among US attackers. Her serve is great and pretty consistent. She’s not the best passer but she takes out her own garbage if you know what I mean. I’d hands down pick her as a starter over any other outside hitters in the US gym. This is my opinion

This is my opinion I’m not a Plummer Stan at all and I completely agree. IF she and Kelsey can look anything close to how they looked this season, I think it’s hard to give the start (let alone the roster spot) to any other duo. (I’m sure Karch will prove me wrong, but just my thoughts)

it’s not a quick, but I like what Orro was doing with Rettke in front of setter. It’s a lot like what Korneluk has killed us with the past two summers. The only drawback is can our setters set that ball who would’ve thought at the beginning of the quad that we’d rather have Orro than any of our setters lol Orro sets her middles in front because she couldn’t consistently set a slide to save her life, and if she tries she raises the ire of princess Paola who doesn’t want any other attacker on her side of the court. It’s to Dana’s credit that she’s become really effective in front which was never something she did a ton of, but when in Rome (or Milano) you gotta roll with what you get.

I’m not super familiar with all of the leagues, but didn’t Parsons have a really good club season? Thought she might at least make the wide roster, but I know we have a lot younger/fresher options too. Is she not as terminal as the others, not as strong on passing/defense, both? Just curious, appreciate any insight.

Why 5 setters when there’s clearly a core 3 and only 3 Opps when all of them have yet to step up
