Oh, after watching Poulter for 20 seconds, I'm kinda sure that Carlini won't make the team again. Karch would take her as 13th player but would she accept that? lol ohh you got that from this huh

I think we’ll have to see how well Poulter plays for her spot to be determined. She did bring USA to their first Olympic gold but hasn’t played competitively in a while, same for Larson. I think this VNL is going to be VERY competitive and interesting lol

The US will have their selections done by June 24th, Canada will have theirs done by June 30th. Like you, unsure when they have to be submitted to the OG, though. Based off what I have found via Vball Canada, it seems like maybe July 7th-ish is the deadline for rosters? "The long list of 19/20 players required for the ‘FIVB 02 Team Registration Form’ for the Paris Olympic Games will be due at a February 13, 2024 • The 12 players that will compete at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games will be nominated to the COC no later than June 30th, 2024. Those athletes will be nominated internally by June 30th. These 12 players must have been named and included on the ‘FIVB 02 Team Registration Form’. Volleyball Canada will also name between 2 and 5 alternates at the same date (June 30th, 2024). • In the case of an injury to a selected athlete following the selection date, an athlete may be replaced on the 12-person roster prior to the preliminary inquiry for the Games, which is scheduled 2 days before the first day of matches. This decision is dependent on the level of the athlete’s injury and timeline for full or sufficient recovery and will be determined through consultation with the National Team Medical Staff, the National Team Coaches, and the athlete. Any injury replacement players must also have been named and included in the ‘FIVB 02 Team Registration Form’. Any athlete replacement following nomination to the COC are subject to the approval of the COC Team Selection Committee. Any such replacement after July 8th at 17pm EST is also subject to the International Olympic Committee Late Athlete Replacement Policy." ETA - I found that deadlines for Tennis players to be entered for Paris is July 8th, so I think that would be the final date for all sports.

Who is the most prominent “shes gonna be the next big thing”’to not make an Olympics?
Was it Barboza?
Looking at carlini prep/college career, back then I would have said you were insane if you told me she wasn’t make an Olympic roster once, let alone twice
