Madi is passing the same as plummer did at stanford. and that is with Sullivan teaching it lol so I wouldnt say the transition is impossible. (gray at BYU is before VM) I wouldnt write it off. But also there's a bigger hole at opposite. im just tired of the US sending all of their insanely athletic players to the outside/never actually developing an opposite, but then getting confused why we have no OPP to take out the trash Edit: general comment, not @ anybody this is true. i feel like with the new USA leagues coming up though it should help |

Why isn’t Samedy getting a look for team USA? Opposite is our biggest weakness right now, one of a few, but we have more than JT, Drews, and Cuttino to work with… right?

She does, I would say she and Mims are in similar spots. I expect we’ll see Samedy more in the future. She’s still improving every year! |

Justine wasn't it the past couple matches yet you expect a setter to turn that charcoal to a diamond. now i just know youre not watching lol (or you have tunnel vision on a couple of missed digs) Justine (and Jordan) are the bottom of the list of things to complain about. Jordan was fine. Justine was not great. Passing was decent but d was 🤮 |

Tell me you know nothing about transition to the international game and OH without telling me. There's not a chance she passes what she needs to pass to play OH. Ever? Not sure. Now? No way. if plummer, gray and all the other bad passers can do it she can. If you are good enough offensively teams will find a way to play you. she also has time Yeah...just not ready this summer. |

I would like to see what Hancock can do. At this point, I just want us to look better, regardless of match outcome. Start with a terminal RS and OH2. Oh and a MH2 that can get a block or even a touch. Chiaka rotted. Period. None of the RS except against a horrible Thailand were impactful. Cuttino was ok. I'm sorry, but is it just me, or is Cuttino very overrated. What does she bring to the table? She is someone that has been with the team for a while now, and I don't see any improvements in her game.

Opposite. and up and down from what I've seen from volleyb Yes, she played Opposite. Decent scoring but not efficient at all. She finished 8th in Attacking among the Opposites in the league (below Annie Drews, Rosamaria, Van Hecke, Nwakalor and 3 locals), which is really low considering also she's in the Champion team so much is expected. Her double sub local Opposite even hit better. She did show up in the most important matches though  |
