I’m really enticed by Kipp’s performance… I’m weary though. Teams may figure her out, like they did for Bajema/Frantti in VNL (especially Frantti).

It’s a great debut but still need to see what she can do against better competition. And as you mentioned if she can be terminal when teams have more scouting. It’s her first season so I’m keeping my expectations realistic, plus she’s probably got a very small shot at Paris so I don’t think there’s any rush here.

Dana, Avery, and honestly Plummer are impressing me. Haleigh is falling a tad behind. Chiaka is great as she always is. Haleigh isn’t even starting against the good teams lmao Not a good look for Haleigh… she was already on the bench most of the summer.

Everyone seems to be high on KP again.. but it’s not like she hasn’t had good seasons at Imoco only to show up and shank the national team into oblivion

Kelsey/Larson and JWO need to pinch in and take most the passes. If KP is allowed to shank two balls in a row that would be a failure in the system. KP could also be DS'd for one trip thru the backrow. Maybe DS the OPP for one rotation thru the backrow so KP doesn't have to pass. All this seems a bit extreme for someone as conservative as Karch, but at this point I think he needs to roll the dice. Best case scenario in our current form, US gets bronze at the Olympics. But more likely US will lose in the Quarterfinals or possibly not even get out of pool play.

And probably make at least the semis unless they play one of Serbia Turkey or Italy in the QF. And even then I wouldn’t say they 100 percent lose to those 3 teams lol

I am sorry I have not been keeping up with the national team. My I ask why Logan Eggeleston doesn't seem to be a consideration for outside?

Turkey looked good last year but they’ve never been one to hold onto and maintain success .. Serbias average age is 83, Brazil hasn’t a golden girl in sight, China is kung pao messy, USA hasn’t found a starting 6 for one year since Tokyo. It’s all a mess. I put Serbia 1 only because Bosko wants it but she still doesn’t have the support she needs when it counts, imo. Maja’s last crusade before she joins Noah’s arc I feel good about USA if karch just lets LC run it but he won’t. Gotta let the top 6 gel starting day 1 this summer. Will queen Kesley play nice with Larson? Will KP get that spot? Will the real JT please show up? Will Chi have a 2022 or 2023 year for team USA? Japan anyone?

Uzelac is leading the Brazilian league in points, points per set, and aces and she’s passing 61 percent positive lol… she is the best player in that league in her first season abroad. Mihajlovic also seems finally healthy and is back to ripping her jump serve and had a great season in China. She looks almost bsck to her glory days for the first time in years. Both of these developments alone completely change Serbia as it gives them 2 scoring options on the left to supplement boskovic. Aleksic is also the number one blocker in Italy right now and is dropping 10 point plus matches every single day she plays. I know I’m normally high on Serbia (for good reason considering how many medals they have won lately) but this is the most excited I’ve been for a NT summer. It really seems like the stars are just aligning for us and would be a perfect way to send off maja with the only gold medal she doesn’t have and would complete her set just like Larson and Foluke got to complete their set.

But I would also like to touch on that I think Japan is a sleeper this summer. Mayu and wada are lighting it up and Koga is goat as always

She hasn’t stood out in her Turkish league play, never made an A team roster last summer, Still struggles passing as an OH and is way down the terminator list as a RS.
