It really can’t even considerably be anyone other than Martin right? She’s playing at a NPOY level.. "Playing at a NPOY level" is awkward here, because the award has never been based on stats. If it was, Jordan Thompson would be a 2x NPOY. I think Martin wins SEC POY, and rightfully so, but Deleye's stats as a 6-rotation OH (.280, 4.74 kills/set, 5.39 points/set) are NPOY level stats as well based on the history of the award. Franklin hit at a higher % last year (.300) but had significantly lower kills and points per set, for example.
