I thought Texas was a sure thing to win the SEC. Not so fast. It looks like Kentucky might win the conference again and I don't think they have half as much talent at Texas. At the same time I do think Kentucky has better chemistry amongst teammates and putting Thigpen at OH2 has made them a better team. The future looks bright for UK if they can find a RS in the portal.

Texas absolutely discarded a couple top SEC programs from the last couple years, UK, UF, UGA, ARK and then it looks like UK is gonna steal it in the night after all. Also. Oklahoma, what a weird team. Almost gets UF in 5, beats Texas but also has a bunch of losses to the middle of the pack in the conference.

And then a few nights later looked really outmatched by Arkansas.

I’m rooting for Kentucky to win the SEC. 2 former wildcats on the Texas team that was favored to win it having to watch their former team actually win it.

If Mizzou beats Florida on 11/15/24 (emphasis on "if"), the 11/27/24 game between UK and Mizzou could decide the SEC champion.
Before conference play, who would have predicted that?

UGA at 3-8 and Auburn at 4-8 are probably my biggest surprises so far -- and Texas with 3 conference losses.

Important, tough stretch coming up for Arkansas - four consecutive road matches at OM, LSU, TN, and Kentucky.

does the SEC do co-champions? or are there tiebreakers for a sole-champion
