Last update I got was over 1/2 hour ago and UCSB had let a 10-5 lead in game 2 shrink to 10-9. Maybe GD doesn't want to give me bad news?

UCSB wins game 3 30-19. GauchoDon just sort of forgot to tell me what the final score from game 2 was. Hopefully this was a UCSB sweep.

Nice, Gaucho sweep 28 19 19!
Gauchos hit over .300 (.319) for the second straight night. 9 aces 4 errors, 4.5 blocks, only 1 serve recieve error
Sandell another great performance: 19 kills 4 errors @ .385 2 aces 8 digs 2 blocks
For the weekend (6 games) that gives her: 35 kills 4 errors @ .413, 2 aces, 15 digs, 4 blocks 5.8 kpg
She damn well should be Big West POW.
Soph middle Brett Quirarte had a great match with 9 kills and 2 errors @ .467 This girl is becoming a very plesant surprise.

Hehe.. maybe I didn't hit send or something Anyway, we looked good, but it was only irvine... I'm guessing hit somwhere close to .300 again (meaning this weekend was the two best hitting percentages for us for the season so far hopefully that's a good sign. Hopefully we stick with this lineup/rotation for awhile

Hey, we dropped a game to UC Davis, so ANY sweep is a good sweep, even over Irvine. Also, Pablo had UCSB/UCI as 83/84 and the RKRPI has them as 90/88. I am beginning to have some hope that we have turned the corner.
The real test comes next week at CAl State Disneyland, who will be 3-0 in the conference to our 2-1. Who would have thought that, even early in the conference, everyone would be chasing Cal State Disneyland. You can bet they will be major pumped up to play us too.

"We hit .319 two nights in a row "
I thought maybe that was what we hit last night as well. No complaints from this fan. ;D

Another outstanding night of distribution from Ashley Dutro. Hey let's not give the hitters all the credit!

Nice win, Gauchos!
Even with the losing record, I have not written off UCSB.
Maybe the win over LBSU is the "turn around" match.
Good luck th
