pretty sure its only the final four. PR claims final six will, but i dont think so. They got 0'ed on FIVB's site (or at least they did for Canada) final six used to be on the rankings. thinking of that... I wonder if that was ever corrected... Canada lost a ton of points by having their kids play. is there a way to see ranking points before 2023 trojansc I know it's kind of annoying - but you can use the wayback machine. Here are the World Rankings from November 2nd, 2022. You can also still click on the teams and view their individual results. web.archive.org/web/20221102014311/https://en.volleyballworld.com/volleyball/world-ranking/womenas for chatchu-off moksri - I thought the Final Six rankings don't count for VNL teams - but they do count for teams who don't play at the VNL. Or it could be only matches between two VNL teams don't count (i.e Dominicana vs Canada would not count for World Ranking, but Puerto Rico vs. Canada would). I want to say it's the former - DOM/USA/CAN won't be affected in any way at all. But I'm not 100% sure oh yea youre right. it sucks tho for MEX/PUR/CUB... thats only two matches they can gain points in (unless they'd play a placement match against themselves)

Fabris is pretty much retired from the Croatian NT, along with Laura Milos.

avid 2.0 kwt mberlanda I saw the men's national team is playing a friendly against Argentina mid-July in Florence. Do any of you happen to know if the women's team will do something similar? I happen to be in Florence at that time, but I'd still prefer to watch the Italian women.

None of these teams are really good, so no one really cares.. JK Oh. I’m sorry if I missed that there’s a criteria that we can only post about strong teams.

THEY MATTER TO ME! and you're one of the only sources I can get this info from, so keep posting. In fact, POST MORE! Give me match-by-match analysis. Play-by-plays. I want to know what these players ate for breakfast!

Nah. It's fine. We also know they are not strong, PHI's vb fans are the harshest critics of our NT. But I'll keep on posting, and we'll definitely stay relevant anyway even with poor teams because SEA is winning a lot of the hosting bids. Three consecutive VNLs in the Philippines with no own team participating is just crazy volleyball support. Be ready to hate us more due to the time difference

I care! I actually really enjoyed watching some of that tournament. Vietnam if they get their other big point scorer back could possibly make some noise... TTT, volleyb do you know what is the status of her? Anyway, that tournament was interesting for sure and the level of play was probably better than one might think. I liked watching the Kazakh outside too (Sana?) Somehow though, THIS match popped up on my YouTube feed, probably because I'm some nerd. It was live and I was like hmm... maybe it's interesting. Now... this was pretty rough to watch.

this might just be gossip but it sounds like Gaby Arroyo (Dayton) expressed interest in playing for PR (her parents are both Puerto Rican) but since she was born in the usa (and started playing here) she's registered with USAV.
PR is trying to do a campaign for puerto ricans in the states to led them know if they dont make it known they want to play for PR, they're automatically registered with usa

No idea yet about 4T's status, but they have 1 winnable match for sure at Challenger Cup this year, unlike last year, since their first round match will be against the host country Philippines Hoping 4T recovers well, since she's also going to play in Turkiye for the first time this club season.
