DOM named Gaila??? Gaila has returned to training with the team and is jumping. She will be ready to go by Paris. Ready to go as starting OPP? I was also thinking maybe she could be used as a blocking sub if she’s less than 100% as well. I think Tapia is OK and has improved a lot quickly, but Gaila being able to fully play is probably required to get out of pool play. |

Gaila has returned to training with the team and is jumping. She will be ready to go by Paris. Ready to go as starting OPP? The expectation, at this time, is that Gaila will be the starting OPP. Agreed that Alondra has improved tremendously, but the youth/inexperience can show up in a hurry for stretches of time. Side note: I love that there are other Dominicana fans here to ride the rollercoaster that is the Reinas with. |

Yes, but I can't explain why I can't find an announcement of the 12 players going to Paris. Maybe they will announce it in the next few hours. If they don't, I hope they have already discussed it with the excluded athletes. |

Santarelli is on Karch era? Bringing 2 injured players. At least, he didn't bring 3rd injured player, İlkin.
I believe Zehra will play decent with a device on her knee but I think Hande won't be performing like last Eurovolley/Olympic Qualifications.
Some inside rumors;
Turkish players are not happy with Santarelli's training plan. Doing fitness even on game days during VNL and travelinf 3 legs of VNL with main team etc. Team has trust issues with coach.
Some TeamUSA players are not happy with Larson's return and questioning Karch. Some trust issues with coach on here as well.

I'd imagine that is stemming from Frantti (This is just conjecture) If they're mad that Larson has taken a roster spot, then I dont really agree with them. They need to be better than the 37 year old... (or however old she is) If they're mad for other reasons, then fair lol I think if anyone has a legit gripe.... its going to be Stevenson/Brionne for not getting a fair chance, Micha/Gray for the whole Poulter situation and Logan. |
