Depending on whether or not Logan plays OH and assuming the chausse / Snyder rumors are true - there's 19 or 20 OHs right now for 6 teams. The rosters are 14 (?) so im assuming 4 OHs per team... that leaves about 5 more spots for OHs. Do you all think they try to get skinner / Franklin / mruzik after their ncaa seasons or have the rosters finalized before then? Hope so! I think that is all that's missing from this group - a recent connection to college volleyball. Only reason they might go overseas is an instant chance to start. The other reason for going overseas right after graduating would be to play with & against the best players in the world, for the best coaches AND now the opportunity to have more playing time with the exit of vets to US leagues…

(Well, unless they’re PVF then they may explicitly choose to avoid) There’s probably five coaches in the world where players would be like “yea, I want to sign there for them”

To be serious, I look at all these pro coaches the way I look at NBA coaches…they really don’t matter. Phil Jackson is a genius because he coached MJ, Shaq and dated the team owners daughter.
I completely get all the USA vets wanting to play at home (and locking in the highest LOVB salaries). But new grads with an eye on LA have a great opportunity to go overseas and play the best competition and be on the floor with the Egonu’s, Haak’s and Vargas’s of the world that they will need to beat at some point.

Gennari confirmed her contract is for two seasons (are all of them? if so will they have more teams in 2026 or just not have different players? lol)
There's a paywalled italian article that suggests (or whoever put it on volleybox) that she'll be in austin or atlanta.

hate him if you want.A lot of people do but a lot of the worlds most respected players give a lot of credit to him. He built the Serbian team from the ground up and turned them into world champions and Olympic medalists. He also has had a lot of success at the club level. He’s a dick and unorthodox and some of his actions are not defendable but he’s a good volleyball teacher and coach objectively and many players have said that and want to work with him

I'm not familiar with pro volleyball coaches, but the notion that coaching doesn't matter in the NBA (or any sport) is hilarious.

It's not mutually exclusive.
