Austin really went for quantity not quality on their opposites which is weird considering how good Logan is at opposite and the fact all of the outsides behind her are competent didn't dehoog have a good pro season?

Which roster is the strongest so far? I would love to hear opinions on this as well. I've just started getting in to pro volleyball this year so I am not familiar with many of these players, but I'm excited to attend the LOVB Houston games!

Hancock and JT are both top 3 Americans at their positions, Kingdon is super fun, Loda is more than serviceable as the other outside concerning they should be getting offense from others. Folie is one of my favorite middles ever, she’s so fun to watch, and Amber is obviously awesome. once she got comfortable in Italy last season she was a star. and then at libero you have one of my favorites. Anna Pogany is a star. there’s an argument to be made that she’s the best in the league

to me, LOVB just seems like it will be the pro league that wins out in the long run. Am I crazy in thinking so? They clearly are much more organized and have a much more stable business model. Every announcement they make (adidas partnership, ESPN contract, 100m dollars raised) is another nail in the coffin for PVF. It seems almost inevitable that if one of the leagues survives it would be LOVB. 160 million for league start up for 6 teams: only money out know money in? And past history has not been favorable for single corporate run teams: players tough negotiating to change teams for mor money or playing time when you negotiate with single entity! Owners of PVF if they want could make difficult by going after LOVB Stars you have negotiating leverage with multiple owners: LOVB’s investors eventually want money for there investment? LOVB already doubling prices for club kids: some places this year from approx. 4,000 to 8,000 for club dues! Rumor they quietly approached 3-step and tried to sell clubs?? Dont know how true? But source was a different equity company?? Competitor??? And at clubs i talk to (kids) they dont even know a pro team is in town: also i went to a couple ticket web sites to look at seat opptions and many only have lower seats on one side for sale!!! Small number of games in home markets! Cant survive on flowery marketing language!! Snd many PVF’s are matched up with local clubs doing clinis camps pro’s in their facility training talking to kids! Their coaches and players in those communities being visible year round! Only thin from outside looking in is PVF leadership (Spyker versus Gao: Gao seems better?? But more games, excellent venues: in market presence amd ticket marketing, pretty good attendance with more product (games) to sell(advertise) . I think for both survive we see a merger of some kind!!

Not too surprising, considering that ESPN is one of LOVB's broadcast partners. Speaking of which, did we ever find out who the other partner(s) is/are? This is totally wild guess. But how about ION? They already cover WNBA and NWSL. And they won't have to worry about any scheduling conflict with WNBA.
