Yeah the pins laid an egg last night but middle connection was great. Ivkovic played limited time as a sub for Olson last night but she has a serious face brace going on that looks uncomfortable to play with, wondering if she’s under concussion protocol and that’s why we haven’t seen her much

They played great last night. I am sure that Minn. was shocked when they came back so strong. I think they might peak during the playoffs.

Ivković has had a couple (not many) opportunities since the Georgia Tech match -- she just hasn't been very effective offensively. Not sure if it's because she needs more reps with the setters or she's still adjusting to the NCAA game.
The other thing is, the Bruins rely on Olson's passing to keep Horne out of the serve receive pattern as much as possible.
Re: face mask -- Ivković has worn it since she got to UCLA. Not sure why, but she's work it during games and practices since the earliest footage of her with the team was released.

It is so painful to watch this once proud program has fallen on hard times. It keeps making the wrong kind of milestones
In the late 90s, players graduated without a win against Stanford.
In the early 2000s, UCLA had a class that were winless against USC
Last year’s team was the first to miss back to back postseason play
This year class should be the first to miss three in a row.
Being a fan is not good for my heart. I am so done with this team.

lol I know you’re joking again. But I say yeah, get rid of Alfee and his staff and bring on Shane Davis. If you’re gonna have a losing record, might as well have something to look at. |

Either the middles or the pins we cannot seem to get both to work in the same match A lot of its mential with pins. Have to be creative with your shot selection. Middles are available ,just need good passing and a set to work with. |

Hoping everyone is ready and gives it a good fight! Definitely a winnable game for UCLA. Either way I'll be watching tonight and again on Sunday! |
