Yeah, it does pain me to say, but I don’t see this program making a turnaround any time soon. Anna Dodson deserved to be on a competitive squad and should have transferred when Reft was coming in. Leverette and Horne also have a lot of upside potential and should look for programs where that can be developed. I would LOVE for UCLA to be back in the mix again, but it’s been flat and uninspiring this entire season. Here’s to next year! Leverette will be a senior,I think graduation is a priority. And also I’m not sure why she isn’t 6ro anymore and providing a back row attack option. Part of the reason UCLA has struggled has been to inconsistent pin play and poor passing. They have shown they can compete with anyone and lose to anyone . |

I didn’t see the set scores, but saw a 3-0 sweep by SC—it’s kinda crazy to think that this Bruins team actually beat an SC team with Wijay AND Fields on it (Ndiaye is a much bigger loss than expected). |

Maybe the Libero Coddling the others I’m really not sure what the staff was thinking and watching UCLA play this season,reiterates that. Curious did they even try and recruit Ashley’s sister who is going to USC. |

I was glad when Sealy was gone but Reft is a big disappointment thus far.
Just like Sealy couldn’t teach setting, Reft, a great libero can’t seems to instill good passing skills to the team. In addition, Robinson Trail another great college libero is on staff. He brought in Nicole Davis for mindset improvement but the team collapsed in the fifth set
He also can’t recruit well either. Losing Abigail Mullen to USC was shocking.
Bringing in Hendrickson who looked lost on the court and Umeh who is too short for front row duties were head scratching. The 2025 pin hitters are underwhelming to me
I know Victoria didn’t play this year but she was a .210 hitter at Florida and she wasn’t the top offensive option.
Give credit to him for retaining Anna Dodson for two years but she is not playing in the postseason again.
Most of the new coaches like Sullivan and J J VN are doing way better than him
Most UCLA fans are not asking for a deep run in the tournament but it is not too much to expect the team to make postseason play.
