Going back the 25ish years I've been following the sport, my top 2 teams would be:
OH-Logan, Olympic caliber coming out of HS
OH-Hodge, just a flat out winner. High level passer as a senior who doesn't get respected enough.
RS-Walsh, did EVERYTHING well
MB-Rettke, most dominant middle in the libero era, unstoppable on the slide
MB-Harmotto, you could make a case for Foluke over her but I loved her attacking in front of the setter
S-Misty May, inch for inch is the best player on this team (and maybe ever)
L-Elena Scott, possible short term memory here but she is so strong as a defender and passer
The squad has elite hitting, size, blocking, passing, defense, setting, you name it.
Team 2:
OH-Plummer, feels criminal leaving her off the first team
OH-Gordon, others individual OHs have had better careers (Ogonna/Folkl/Fawcett for starters) but passing is needed here. Gordon more than holds her own as an attacker and server
RS-Pavan, another one where it feels criminal leaving her off the top team. Most dominant right side attacker I've seen.
MB-Foluke, dominant middle her entire career. Just a lethal scorer and a great blocker
MB-Cacciamani, played very different volleyball than most middles do today, but she was a freaking stud. So good hitting in front of the setter and she was unstoppable out of the pipe.
S-Carlini, watching her force slides to Foluke on every other play would be a thing of beauty
L-Hentz, probably the best defensive libero I've seen in collegiate volleyball
