Fun 1st and 3rd set to watch (Threo vs Mol/Sorum) Third set was close the whole time

13-13 and Trevor fails to side out twice in a row. So predictable.

Chaim just isn't good at anything. At this point in his career he isn't above average in any skill and most of his skills, particularly his defense and mobility are way below average. you always seem to blame Chaim for their lack of success. But Tri hasn't done anything to help this team either. In fact most teams serve him and he hasn't been able to sideout on a consistant level. Yes, Tri has a higher ceiling but he's also very error prone. Hitting .667 with 2 blocks and an ace in set 3 didn't help the team? Of the 13 points in game 3 he scored 7 and Chaim 2.

I wasn't talking about this match. I was talking about their partnership in general. Maybe Tri had a good third set this time (I didn't watch it) but overall he hasn't played very well either since they teamed up.

If he already hasn’t realized that his Paris hopes are dead, he certainly will by Huntington Beach in May. I’m guessing he’ll want to make a run at LA 2028, so there’s no reason to stick with Chaim much longer. But what are his options right now?

Those Lupo/Rossi quick and shoot sets are really quite amazing. They just need to be a little more consistent with it. Reminds me of the early days of the Adrian/Enrico partnership and taken to the next level but without all the jumping that the Swedes do.

I apologize Budinger/Evans, I wasn't familiar with your game Yeah I wanted to see how long they’ve been playing together. 2022 Miles E played internationally with Benesh, Lotman and Webber.

Pretty easy win for Theo/Trevor over Australia. They'll almost certainly break pool now, earning them at least 600 points. Unless Chase/Miles go on some sort of crazy run, that probably locks up the USA2 spot.

Chaim needs to work on his 1 overs Chaim needs to stop losing money playing FIVB. It's over. Perhaps his D was good playing behind a very good blocker in Theo, but with Tri his D is horrible. Add to that a very low hitting % on sweet sets, and even worse in crunch time, dude is done.
Big loser here is Tri. He said on sandcast they'd enter a bunch of events early in the year and then see how they're doing after a few. I suppose he's hoping for a miracle or something.

Unfortunate to see Sørum isn't in better shape following the break. Mol won't be able to carry him all season AGAIN.

Unfortunate to see Sørum isn't in better shape following the break. Mol won't be able to carry him all season AGAIN. Assuming it's his back, that isn't something that can be reversed. Tiger Woods couldn't do it, Phil Mickelsen couldn't do it, and they had tens of millions of dollars to throw at the problems. It may be that the Sørum who was the equal of Anders is no more. As with those two golf greats, it's sad to see.
