Totally off topic but I been watching some recent matches of Stanford and their bench still comes out to the court after they make a point. I hope the refs get on them when they come down here. Cause they might do that at Stanford but we not gonna let that go over here. Haha Yes totally off topic but something I noticed. Lol Why do you care? Just curious... Because I can. Lol They can get away with it at their place they won't here. |

It'd not just the bench diving and running to the service line area, it was a culmination of things from Rottman talking through the net last year and saying really bad things. Chaz and Voss got pissed 2 different things, that was last year and I agree it crossed a line. But the post was about this year and it is just the bench. Yes, it was last year, but they still do it this year. I think Soljah, is just saying they better keep themselves in check... bumbye we send Aunty Tita on them...lol just be classy, not trashy |

Sakanoko passed well tonight. I didn't expect him to be good but je has shown a lot of potential. Once he cleans up his ball control he is going to be a force. That arm is really fun to watch! |

The brother pound the ball so hard, I hope nobody gets hurt. He has one mean hammer. Just imagine him after a year or two of weight training. |

I don't understand Coach Wade's unwillingness to allow more of the pin hitter depth start, Cole Ottmar (the kids got athletic ability) & Kai Taylor (he's played some beach volleyball and was listed as an OH/L. You never know you might have to call upon these guys in case of something happening to the 2 backups that were on the floor tonight. 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️

Reps are hard to get so when the chance present itself, the coaches will award them to the next guys up. It’s not about giving everyone a chance . That chance is in the practice gym. You prove your worth in the practice gym and then get rewarded in matches like this. I’m going to guess that both Kai Taylor and Cole Ottmar are behind Sakanoko and Thiim on the depth chart so that is how it is working out. Reps given to players who are unlikely going to see the floor in meaningful matches is wasted reps in some coaches mind. It’s much more Beneficial for the team that Keoni and Louis get more PT as both are next guys up. If someone gets hurt, then Kai Taylor or Cole Ottmar will become the next guys up. |

I think next season Cole Ottmar transfers out or just graduates and moves on. Wish we could see the athleticism that CMac talks about even James Anastassiades talks about him in hopes that he can participate instead of being a serving sub.

Develop talent? If you don’t have the enough talent, then you don’t have enough talent. Coaches can’t be responsible for kid with not enough talent. They only have 20 hours a week to work with the team and most of the time is spent on improving the team and preparing for the next opponent. They can’t be wasting valuable time trying to “develop talent”. Improvements are done in the off-season. This is where the player themselves need to put in the work.
A guy like Colton Cowell, who went from walk on to starter, put in the work on his own. Same with a guy like Keoni. Kai may get a shot down the line like Keoni is getting now but until then, he is going to have to keep grinding and working cause we are constantly filling the roster with top level players.
Cole Ottmar did not do himself any favor by letting 2 balls drop in front of him last night. If the kid has the skill sets to help, Charlie would have given him time. He obviously has not shown enough in practice to warrant more time on the court. CMac can rave about whomever impresses him. Maybe he is easily impressed. Wade and Milan sees top level play in practice everyday so they can see who is ready and who is not.
This is not about giving everybody a chance. The roster is too large to give everyone a chance.
