They missed to mentioned 2 teams. Hitachi will likely have Mac May and Brionne Butler, while Okayama doesn't have any rumored foreign players, and I won't be surprised if they really stay as all-local.

Nantes are in a mess. They lost their main sponsor. Money was supposed to be guaranteed for this season but who knows. They've cancelled the handball portion of their organization. Their training for VB has been delayed by two weeks.
Elsewhere, Kyla Swanson is joining Porto.

Thought Stephanie Samedy was playing in Türkiye or Italy for this season. Was Japan always the plan?

are they allowed to sign 2 SEA players? I thought the limit was 2 foreigners + 1 SEA player There is no limit in the number of foreign players they can sign but the 2+1 is the rule on court at a time. It was also said in the guidelines that a SEA player can be registered in the foreigner slot. So most likely, they are registering one of the Thai players in the foreigner slot since they only have 1 foreign Non Asian player. All 3 will be able to play at the same time, then. PFU also has Melissa Valdes who is not counted as a foreigner in the rules of the league (Cuban who studied and finished high school in Japan, ongoing naturalization). They all can play in the court at the same time.
