Grand Canyon should have never been number one to begin with. Okay hot take lol The caliber of players returning for them as a whole wasn’t up to par with teams like UCLA, Long Beach State, and Hawai’i. That’s why I never had them as number one in my ballots, even with Beach or Hawai’i losing one game. I still think UCLA would beat them even after their four losses. Just my opinion tho lol |

Hickman hit .605 had 23 kills no errors but wound up with 22 less attempts than Gianni. That's on the setter, no? I agree they should have fed the beast. 100% but I think the blame here really goes to the coaching staff. How does nobody tell the setter one outside is hitting .605 and the other is hitting .017? |

Seems like they clamped down on Gianni though....so they still keep going to him knowing full well he just isn't getting it done....but your other pin is not only killing it but doing it error free! |

Furthermore, I believe that GCU's starting unit and their time together has created a synergy that takes them over the top. They are a darn good team. |
