Wow.
I was not able to see the end of the game but I left hoping. I had to leave in the middle of game 3 when it was 20 - 17 Fullerton. I sat beside Mr Waldowski. He was so tense that he kept standing up and walking out of Titan Gym every 10 minutes.

Kay,
There were some long rallies but the Gauchos couldn't seem to win any of them. Fullerton made very few errors. The back row attack was NOT working for the Gauchos tonite. Let's see, I think ( I got a glimpse at the stats) that Blackshire had 14 kills, McGlaughlin (SP) got 13 and Quiarte had 11. Highest pctg. went to BQ with .550+ Hendrickson had 28 kills. I don't see the full stats up on either site yet. I don't get Dutro, she set Lauren M. it seemed like 60ish balls with Q and O in the front row. There were most often 3 up on Lauren. Is that hard to figure out? I don't get the strategy. Is it to scare the freshman to death?

Yes, the stats have McLaughlin with 13 kills and 15 errors. She also got 62 sets with the next highest going to Sandell @ 47. Quirarte was amazing with 11 kills and 1 error on 19 swings and 6 blocks. Blackshire also had a great night with 14 kills to 1 error on 27 swings. Biggest difference in the match, UCSB 9 aces 10 errors, CSUF 5 aces 13 errors.
This is another good example of why the "points" stat is just stupid. Sandell with 18 kills 8 errors got more points than Blackshire with 14 kills to 1 error and McLaughlin 13 kills 15 errors got more points than Quirarte with 11 kills and 1 error. The "points" stat either needs to get fixed of be dropped.

"I sat beside Mr Waldowski."
He and his wife are both great fans.
