#18 UCSD with the reverse sweep on #16 CSUN. That's 2-0 for the Tritons over the Matadors this week. I don't know what takes Rostratter so long to yank Schellinger for Lim every match but thank goodness for Lim coming through to provide some help for Lara and Cherfan. Lara and cherfan have really been putting this triton team on their back. Do you think they can make any noise against Long Beach or hawaii? I saw their matches against uci was pretty close I... don't. UCSD still has some weaknesses that will be exposed by better teams. Dyer still isn't there yet with his setting after missing majority of the season with injury. Their serve receive can also be taken apart by the right team. Boyle is way too inconsistent with his passing for me. Sometimes he's dialed in, but more often that not he's overpassing, getting beat, or just putting up balls that do the Tritons no favors. I don't think UCSD can keep up with the Beach and can't see them passing well enough to disrupt Hawaii too much. But this season has been kind of crazy so you never know! |

With Santa Barbara taking Long Beach to 5, maybe ucsd can as well, but as of right now uci does look like the team to beat in the big west. |
