question for @avid 2.0 and kwt but for the top clubs in the lower leagues (im thinking Vasas, Calcit Kamnik, etc.) is there any financial benefit to them qualifying for CL? do clubs like NUC make more money for getting longer runs in a CL cup? im wondering if club performances like that help them grow and become bigger teams, or if it really is solely based on who is sponsoring them and how much money they have.

Between travel and CEV's stuff for broadcasts. I think I read Beziers/Suhl or Wiesbaden? and/or someone else were in a huge deficit in their budget because of playing European matches. Being successful in the cups is a two-edged sword... like NUC/Paris/Nantes all got raided this year.

There are money prizes for achievements: Champions League: winner -> 500k euros runner-up -> 250k semi-finalists -> 125k quarter-finalists -> ? CEV Cup: winner -> 80k runner-up -> 60k semi-finalists -> 30k quarter-finalists -> 15k Challenge Cup: winner -> 50k runner-up -> 30k semi-finalists -> 15k quarter-finalists -> 10k CEV is cheap, lol
