Hawaii hit .171 to UCSB's .243.
UCSB had 15 kills in the set and Geste Bianchi had 9 of those kills!
Hawaii added 4 more blocks to their stat sheet, bringing the match total to 9 blocks. Hawaii is passing decently and playing some good floor defense but the offense, especially the connection between Tread and the 3 pins, are where Hawaii is getting behind in rallies.
Both teams are benefitting from each others errors

I hope Kauling gets some significant playing time in the 4th set. Give Rosenthal some much needed rest. Yup! Rest him and allow him to see what's happening from the sidelines. So if they can't close it out in the 4th then insert Tread back in the 5th. |
