Once you got the yellow, you gotta know better. Agreed, but c'mon..it's Keoni. Bro is full of ego. All that aside, it was a very intense match so he was just living in the moment.

Hawaii hit .254 to UCSB's .194 Hawaii outblocked UCSB 17-9 and also had more digs 50-45 (led by Eleu, Tread and Alaka'i with 10 digs a piece.)
Tread really settled down in the 5th set and gave his pins the room to swing for kills!
Keoni Thiim provided a much needed spark off the bench as he lit 4 kills on fire and hitting .500 in the 5th set.
Louis led the Warriors with 15 kills hitting .306.
G Voss with 12 kills hitting .750 and 6 blocks.
Bianchi was incredible with 32 kills hitting .300!
Congratulations to this legendary class of seniors who helped make the Warriors one of the very best programs in the nation.
GO BOWS!

That red card was ridiculous. What was the red card? Just for over celebrating? Yellow was a warning for excessive talking through the net... then he did the exact same thimg 5 minutea later. The refs had no choice

I’m usually not the Debbie Downer but this match was just ugh. I’m mad that Chaz got taken out when Tread was just setting the ball out of bounds. And then Keoni giving a stair down when you’re losing is a lot.
Voss and Sakanoko was amazing, thank you for saving us

Hawaii played terribly, this wasn’t a good win at all. They should’ve lost. Hawaii fought very hard and played well in the 5th set. Volleyball is a chaotic game and winning ugly says a lot about the heart and skill of the Warriors.

Big west volleyball standings
Looks like we’re in 3rd place. Hoping for at least a split in Irvine . Sweep would be even better.

I believe he's also banged up and has been for a few seasons.

Bianchi was ridiculous again. Jaden Glenn careered tonight. Walmer played fantastic. The Gauchos gave it their absolute all but that still wasn't enough against this UH team. Awesome grit shown by the bows to close that out

These Gauchos are a scrappy bunch and this has been a trait of their program and not just some individual teams.
They took LBSU to 5 as well in a match that was even more heated than what fans saw this evening. I look forward to watching UCSB rise back up to the top.

Good fight by UH, congrats to them on the win. It wasn't easy but they did it.
UCSB did some good things and served really well in hhe middle of the match. They are not a complete team yet but they have a couple weeks to make it so. They need to come in guns blazing next time they play in that building.
