Juniata’s record against D1 schools is 67-23 .742. Their record against D2 is 218-48 .820. Wow, that's a lot of games...I know they used to regularly play Clarion during the season, but that data must be going back quite a bit...take it with a grain of salt as the lines between D1,2, and 3 were quite blurred not all that long ago...impressive nonetheless

So based on NED's projected rankings, if we seeded 1-64 the regionals would be...
Juniata Ithaca CMS UW Eau Claire Transy Plymouth State Coe Marymount
MIT Salisbury Trinity Chicago Carnegie Mellon Gustavus Adolphus Lasell Westfield State
Johns Hopkins Case Western Whitworth Stevens William Smith William Paterson Edgewood Alfred State
Emory Wash U Gettysburg Centre Gallaudet Messiah Allegheny Maine Maritime
Hope Millikin F&M NYU Smith Endicott Cornell Greenville
Marietta East Texas Baptist Wisconsin Platteville CNU Babson Calvin Salem Hunter
Washington and Lee Colby Va Wesleyan Springfield UW Stevens Point Northwestern Asbury Manhattanville
UW Whitewater UW Oshkosh Cortland La Verne Middlebury Otterbein Wittenberg St. John Fisher
There is of course NO CHANCE they move this many teams around the country, so with a few seed appropriate switches, I came up with...
1. Juniata 2. Ithaca 3. Cortland 4. Springfield 5. Transylvania 6. Plymouth St 7. Allegheny 8. Marymount
1. MIT 2. Colby 3. Gettysburg 4. NYU 5. Middlebury 6. Endicott 7. Lasell 8. Maine Maritime
1. Hopkins 2. Case 3. Whitworth 4. La Verne 5. Gallaudet 6. William Paterson 7. Coe 8. Westfield
1. Emory 2. East Texas Baptist 3. Trinity 4. Centre 5. Babson 6. Northwestern 7. Salem 8. Hunter
1. Hope 2. Millikin 3. UW Platteville 4. UW Eau Claire 5. Smith 6. Otterbein 7. Edgewood 8. Alfred State
1. Marietta 2. Wash U 3. F&M 4. Christopher Newport 5. Carnegie Mellon 6. Calvin 7. Wittenberg 8. St. John Fisher
1. Washington and Lee 2. Salisbury 3. Va Wesleyan 4. Stevens 5. William Smith 6. Messiah 7. Asbury 8. Manhattanville
1. UW Whitewater 2. UW Oshkosh 3. CMS 4. Chicago 5. UW Stevens Point 6. Gustavus Adolphus 7. Cornell 8. Greenville
That has every team in the seed they deserve but that is still 9 flights and I don't see them going past 6, so some teams in the east will be seeded up, and some teams in the central will slide down a line or two, but I thought I'd share this to maybe entertain some people until Monday.

They did budget what, an extra $250K, for champions with the protected seeding, will volleyball see any of that? Have to guess no. 6 flights it is.

Colby sweeps Williams and Middlebury sweeps Wesleyan in the NESCAC Semis tonight. None of the sets seemed all that close tonight.
Colby will make the tournament regardless of what happens tomorrow, but I imagine they have no chance at hosting with a loss (even with a win its probably doubtful)

Top 100. A lot of Finals(37 today, 5 tomorrow, 1 done(CUNYAC - John Jay). How will the UAA playing 3rd, 5th, and 7th place matches affect NPI? A Carnegie Mellon loss could put them in danger. Time zone?? Updated start time? Double check your matches of interest. Thank You richkern.com for the schedule data.

William smith survived in the semi’s 15-13. Berry survives Sueanee 22-20! And Swarthmore upsets F&M also in 5!
Hunter does not survive losing in the CUNYAC finals for the first time in 7-8 years.
And it’s barely Saturday!

A good day to post a Conference Tourneys (2024) reminder. To distract from the blatant promotion, here are a couple fun facts: 34 of today's 37 finals feature a #1 seed; 22 finals begin at or before 3 p.m. (central).

Middlebury wins 3-2, 16-14. Colby's consolation bid will be the first steal from the pool C contenders. Colby won set 1 easily but Midd stayed calm.
