Idk but we may have an opening if Kurt forgoes his college career to go pro. Lol Lazar can play with Kristian over here. Lmao jk For next year? Kurt did not celebrate on senior night iirc. Yeah but rumor going around he may be going pro. I guess we shall see. But Lazar is a good get for LBSU.

Congrats to the Beach for advancing forward!
Congrats to CSUN for a season which saw them get wins against teams ranked way ahead of them while advancing to the BWT semis. I will miss watching Hobus scuds his opponents way!
Both teams showed a lot of grit in this match and it made for some great volleyball.

CSUN was no joke. Kudos to them for putting up a great fight. sniffed, but not enough to finish it

almost crazy that Bouchkov was leading the nation in blocking, and can't get back in after recovering. Beach is loaded at MB.
he's got to be going nuts on the sideline to get in and just hammer a ball. probably is killing him to have to watch, but that's what he's got to do right now.

If rumor is true then he probably saw the writing on the wall that he’s likely not going to start next season. That's my thought too. Ofeck will already lock down one middle position because of his block but mostly because of the offense he brings. I low-key think we getting either Seddik, a middle with the caliber of Seddik or a really good middle and Nuersters position isn't locked in. And maybe Kurt is seeing the writing on the wall. So we shall see. But Hawaii still recruiting and have yet to announce some recruits and transfers that are coming in before next season. But said gonna be stacked. They gonna be uber young...but they coming in stacked.

I think the haters are jealous of Sotiris. He just outmanuevered a wicked good Matador team in key points in the match. And he lets his joy overflow. And he's got style. What's not to love?
Godbold is the cannon arm we need to complement Varga, so glad Clarke is healthy. Knipe and his stiff sets nothing pretty about it except the results. He's been really good with the one arm sets though. And the kick saves!

He comes thru over and over, doesn't get fazed. yeah he's emotional and the type that opposition will get wrankled over some of his reactions. not a lot of filter sometimes, lol, to the oppoonent, the refs, teamates lol I though some of Knipes early sets were even a tad more higher than even usual. the middles need to clean up a couple of those erros. that block though is key and grinds points night after night I don't care who wins IRv-Haw, but I think Irvine would be a tougher opponent than an injury short Hawaii team playing 3rd night in a row, despite having the crowd energy for them. I want to beat Irvine to go 2-1 for the year over them, then beat UCLA to go 2-1 for the year over them.

Aiden has set a really good season. By far his best season to date and it looks like he has put a lot of work in.

Those easy missed kill shots by Torwie won't happen again. On good sets from Aidan too. McRaven, he has a few bad misses here or there but Torwie almost never. Both did a great job on the block. Having Godbold up front completes the wall. I like how Knipe is freely subbing in Harlan for defense and short spurts, give Clarke a rest and minimizes him worrying about passing as much. And I too think coach Knipe wasted challenges last night. Hope he is smarter about that these final few matches.
Need fewer service errors. Only Siapanis brought his A game last night. Godbold and Torwie need to clean it up, Varga can be better, but at least their errors were on hard attempts. CSUN serve receive was exceptional most the match.
Love how Godbold and Varga were blasting everything, we need that. The occasional doink shot when it made sense. Sotos is so crafty he doesn't always need to pound it. Harlan needs to let it rip more as well.
Seeing we get UCI after they swept the locals, that second set 36-34 marathon must have been gut wrenching! Henno had a bad game at LB and won't tonight, he was on fire for UCI last night. Beach needs to act like the big dog from the opening serve for once. Should be a thriller its mostly for the glory of being BWT champs with both teams seemingly in no matter what.

Should be a thriller its mostly for the glory of being BWT champs with both teams seemingly in no matter what. the other tweak is KNipe has Dane Hills now serving sub vs. Bloom, Bloom has a nice right to left movement on his serve. Just after the serve Hills is a better back-row defender and gets balls up better. Beach has seen Heno enough, Hawaii's block is not Beach's - I'm sure Briggs will be anticipating a lot of Heno's tactics to push the ball thru short. Gonna be a dog fight. Heno's gonna do what he's gonna do. You have to close down the other guys and not get uber focused on Heno. It's from the service line mostly that Irvine will be better than last week, they were not close to their capability (looked bad on a lot of serves) and Beach needs to not be passive with their receptions. Heno is gonna pull the string short on a few serves tonight. This match will be won/lost mostly on receiving.
