I've seen a few sources say that Beşiktaş will play at Akatlar Arena this coming season, will not return to Burhan Felek after having played there in 2023-24 following getting promoted back up. The club itself hasn't announced anything, but there are enough others saying so that I think it's true. (Akatlar is where the club's basketball teams play and, according to Volleybox, volleyball was until 2019.) If it is true, that's a great decision, in my opinion. I believe that the crowd sizes and atmospheres will be better for BJK at Akatlar than at Burhan Felek.

The BVA Cup schedule has been announced. Just four teams will take part, not five, so they'll simply hold a three-day round-robin tournament. However, interestingly, it will be held midweek, from Tuesday-Thursday that week, from Sept. 10-12.
Galatasaray's schedule shown in the tweet (Turkish time) while the complete tournament schedule may be viewed at Volleybox (presumably in your time zone).
Thanks for this post. I have already informed volleybox about the false information, as you have mentioned above but still no action from their side. They still keep Zeleznicar in the tournament. Sooo wierd.

Sooo wierd. volleybox (the mod) isnt active on the site anymore This is also wierd cause BVA Cup page was created by Kerim Küçük and wrote to him sending back to back messages via volleybox directly to make necessary adjustments and received 1 message just saying "OK". Since then, no luck. In fact, someone has to take over. Right?

Her team organized a commemorate today, with lots of tear at their volleyball court. Difficult to express the feeling. After all medic examinations and other investigations, it was officially announced that, the cause of death is natural, however hearing the rumour which says that she was suffering from insomnia, is another point to be questioned. All necessary documentations and reports have been submitted by Turkish authorities and family is waiting USA Embassy to submit Mortuary Certificate, in order to transfer her body to home Puerto Rico. This is the brief summary of this heartbreaking incident so far.

The Turkish Cup group stage schedule, to be played from Sept. 20-22, has been announced. All matches will be broadcast on TRT Spor Yıldız.
The top five teams receive byes to the quarterfinals, so none of the big clubs will be taking part in this group stage.

FYI to anyone interested - Galatasaray will face PAOK, a Greek team, in the final match of the BVA Cup in Istanbul at 19:00 TRT on Thursday with the winner advancing to the CEV Challenge Cup. (It's a four-team group stage, but both sides are 2-0, 6-0 in sets, through their first two matches.)
