I'm impressed by Ronika's short serve receive accuracy, her digging and quite a few decent sets. I'm curious which coach taught her those skills...didn't see this at Oregon. What are you talking about? She played great defense at Oregon while serving. We kept her in the back row a bunch in 2019. Haha. My memory goes further back, then. I've been impressed that on several plays she was the only player to react and sprint across the court to dig a tip, and her setting has been very good for a middle. Those are just not skills I remember. (You don't expect a middle to be the first person out of 6 players to read and respond to a play.)

TTA with the dime for match point, Willow with the killl. Nice re-entry for TTA.

Oregon definitely works passing/defense/OOS setting with middles. I'm sure she has improved since college, but she definitely got her base at Oregon.

She looks like such a complete volleyball player, not just a middle. Like she's spent a few years playing beach and gotten all of the skills down.

Matt is a Gimmillaro protege whose approach to the game is grounded in a similar philosophy, with a much improved modern mentality. It has taken him awhile, but he's coming into his own now.
