Things are not getting better www.reuters.com/markets/us/us-economic-growth-slows-more-than-expected-first-quarter-2024-04-25/ It’s time to admit that Joe Biden is a disaster when it comes to the economy what Biden economic policies do you attribute to the ECONOMIC GROWTH in the US? Remember when the economy actually shut down during Trump and he lost millions of jobs?

The US economy entered 2024 on strong footing, but headwinds including rising consumer debt and elevated interest rates will weigh on economic growth. While we do not forecast a recession in 2024, we do expect consumer spending growth to cool and for overall GDP growth to slow to under 1% over Q2 and Q3 2024. Thereafter, inflation and interest rates should gradually normalize and quarterly annualized GDP growth should converge toward its potential of near 2% in 2025. www.conference-board.org/research/us-forecast

A simple google search The US economy continues to surprise to the upside. Despite persistent fears around high interest rates, high inflation, slowing growth, and unsustainable consumer spending, the economy continues to deliver month after month. It is looking increasingly as though policymakers have managed to create the conditions for the mythical “soft landing,” where inflation is brought down to target without causing a recession. www2.deloitte.com/us/en/insights/economy/us-economic-forecast/united-states-outlook-analysis.html

The US economy is expected to grow 2.7% in 2024, which is double the rate of the next closest G7 country. The US has had the strongest economic recovery in the G7, with a 7.4% GDP growth since the fourth quarter of 2019. In comparison, Canada and Italy have seen cumulative growth of 3-4% over that period, while Japan, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany have grown 2.4%, 1.8%, 1.8%, and 0.3%, respectively.

and before Holiday wants to start b!tching about Biden and oil
The United States is the world's largest producer of oil, producing more than any other country in history. In December 2023, the US produced a record-breaking 13.3 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil, and in April 2024, the US produced 21.91 million bpd, accounting for 22% of the world's total. In 2023, the US, Russia, and Saudi Arabia accounted for 40% of global oil production
