Did you read the article past the headline? Actually, did you even read the headline? Headline says: "Nearly 70% of active service members are overweight" You then said: "70% of our military is obese" That is nothing close to being the same thing. From the article: "Defense Department data shows that the obesity rate, calculated using a person’s age, height and weight, has more than doubled over the past decade, from 10% to roughly 21%. At the same time, more than half of young Americans now qualify as obese, and it’s the no. 1 disqualifier for recruiting prospects." So, you said the obesity rate was 70% when it is actually 21%, while in the general population it is over 50%. While criticizing how someone else used statistics, you should be wary of repeating one that seems obviously false on its face. More than half of young Americans don't qualify as obese. Not sure where that article got the statistic but its well over double the figure given by the CDC, which was 20% for adults 18-24 as of 2022, and about the same for children younger than that, although other sources give a lower figure.

Good point. I was pointing out how he misquoted the article that he cited. It is then a next level argument as to what degree the stats quoted in the article are correct or incorrect or whether they are meant to mislead in some way. We are so used to HOLIDAY consistently misquoting the facts in his own citations that we rarely ever even get to the second, deeper level.

A healthy athletic male with decent muscle will be considered 'overweight'. Heck, according to the CDC calculator, LeBron James is obese. The article also didn't specify where the 10% increase came from... My guess, the addition of the Space Force (kidding).

Sort of like to 51 CIA,FBI., and iDepartment of Justice officials that claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation before the election? That kind of Egregious lying? It’s great to know that Democrats actually care about the truth. Perhaps you should worry about it more .

What does Hunter Biden’s laptop have to do with military readiness? The debate was that I was misquoted information. Pay attention. You Democrats have made misquoting information a campaign tool. So don’t !!!!###$$$!!!ing lecture me about misquoting. Here’s the truth. No one wants to join the military because your Democrats have once again ruined something that young people desire to do. No young man who wants to be a warrior is going to join an organization that is worried more about pronouns than they are about being patriotic and caring about their country. You continue to ruin things that help protect us. And you’re too !!!!###$$$!!!ing stupid to change the direction of where you’re going. You’re idiots.
