top 4 among these 8 teams at the end of the VNL elimination (playoffs not included) will qualify to the Olympics through WR.
As it stands, the last slot currently being held by Serbia is still very much reachable by other teams, as we saw in the Women's. With some top teams not putting their best players since they are already qualified anyway, upsets that will get a lot of WR points are expected.

Also, Boyer's season is over. Patry was the clear starter in any case, but France probably not as deep at the Opp position without Boyer.
