I’m confused. Why is Turkey listed as Türkiye, but Germany isn’t listed as Deutschland, etc.? the UN adopted the Türkiye internationally, so probably FIVB is honoring that Ah. Didn't know that. Thanks! 👍 |

well it was always going to be a tough task for Thailand to beat USA but I do think this is a better start for them compared to last year
wipawee was kind of all over the place. hopefully she steadies out a bit as the tournament goes on. im surprised we didn't see sasipaporn earlier, but im wondering if they are saving her for the more winnable matches. chatchu on was solid as always, but i feel like she lost a bit of tenacity in her play that she developed when she played in the turkish league
i thought pimpichaya looked great. it was also cool to see 19 year old Donphon Sinpho get her first significant minutes with the A-team.

Playing M. Skinner at opp is a shame because she could push for an OH spot in Paris. That competition would jumble the vibe for her sister and Larson for sure, but I’ve seen enough to say she’s a generational talent.
