I heard from a couple of club directors that some schools are talking to SAs about an increase of scholarships… some saying it’s a done deal and everyone will be on scholarship. This is all due to the recent court settlement against the NCAA.

Expected decision is coming around June 25th Correct the settlement is removing arbitrary restriction on scholarships by the NCAA. If the roster limit is 18 then a school can decide if they want to fully fund 18 schollys or not. My understanding from the information i have read is the only issue is title 9 but that will be on the schools since the NCAA is not going to legislate the amount of scholly per sport. |
