Woo hoo! Glad to see the US turn it around and get that 5 set win against Brazil! TJ was great again but I was happy to see Anderson, Averill and Muagututia have better performances to help their team. Max Holt was also key to the win as he was great on offense and defense. GO USA! β₯οΈπ€ππ!!! Our boys will be ready!!

There's no quick fix on the right - if there was, Speraw would've had another on the OLY roster. Essentially, at least one of the OH's is a better option on the backside, than any of the other OPP's in the gym.
graduatestudent poses an interesting thought: if Anderson is one of the two best OH's on this roster, should he be one of the starting OH's and one of the other guys goes to OPP? Anderson is (theoretically) the best OPP, but if his ability to be terminal in that position is mediocre, should we make our best OH pairing and try & get by with the third best OH on the right? This is a real poor formula for an Olympic medal run, but is it the best lineup we put out there? The health statuses of Russell and Jaeschke make this a more complex call.

The most terminal right side option would be TJ, and with the way he scores from the left itβs hard to justify that switch

I just hope Tommy and Aaron are healthy. Team definitely needs them. Hope nothing serious. Pray for a quick recovery.

USA still has a chance to squeak into the finals ahead of Argentina. It looks like it's between these two.
Serbia and Cuba also still has a chance but that requires winning against Poland (and/or Slovenia for Serbia).
The USA has to win their next matches 3-0 to secure the spot otherwise, Argentina goes through (I'm assuming Argentina sweeps Bulgaria).
