I wonder if Joe Karlous and Ryan Ka will be there. Ryan Ka already suited for the Philippines last year in Seagames. I think this is their 4th year of conducting try out for Fil-Ams So far of all the players they recruited in that time period, only Steven Rotter elevated their game. Hopefully him and Ka shows up again. |

Any prospects on an already out of college Fil-Am with a couple years of playing experience making the cut? 😂 Yeah, report says 45 have signed up for tryouts. I only know 2 fil-am players lol. There was this other college player, can't remember his name or school, looks caucasian but speaking fluent filipino when the team played in Hawaii. Also, are these 45 played college, current or otherwise? It will be interesting who these prospects are. Looks like they are recuiting for the world championship next year as Philippines will have automatic bid as a host country. |

Any updates on who made the team? I know at least one player in the Philippines as of today. Fil-Am select is bringing several players to Manila for a mini tournament/ camp composed of mostly developmental players. Out of all the players that tried out it looks only Kyle Paulson of USC and Jordan Lucas of GCU are shoe in to the NT but I don’t think they are making that trip.Hopefully Rotter and Ka are still interested. They desperately need imposing MBs more than anything else that is why the potential inclusion of Paulson is great. |

Wow. I knew they'll be lots of Fil-am in the Cali area. Hope they all make it. At any rate, they'all have an awesome experience. Philippines is big on volleyball right now. They are itching to crack the international stage.
