Sigh. I brought this up as happening before as a potential unfortunate part of our scoring system, and of course, it's happening again. Kentucky's played 14 sets on the week. In set #14, Delaney Hogan finally comes in for rainbowbadger in her first action of the season. She gets 3 kills and 3 blocks in one set. So, for the week, she gets to count her stats as 3.00 kills and 3.00 blocks per set for playing in one single set against a cupcake opponent. OMG, LOL, WHAAAAT? Sorry, I’ve been in Milwaukee all day and am just now getting a chance to look at this now that the games are over. Holy hell, I did NOT see any of that coming. And of course you’re beating me anyway because my team can’t serve or dig a ball this week for some reason. |

Does anyone have any matches coming down to the wire? We're about done with week 1 with not too many matches tomorrow. has 6.19 BPS to my 6.16 BPS. Only category that is close, 3-2 win for whoever takes it. I have Ames with one match tomorrow. I need Ames to beat 0.25 BPS, but I don't have super high hopes. Not sure if she will even play. lol I feel the opposite- like I will for sure lose that one. But I was closer than I thought I’d be week 1! |

I guess there's flaws potentially whether you do divided by sets played or sets teams played in, but getting 3 blocks/set added on to your score when you look around the league scoreboard that's more than half of what a lot of teams are getting... seems problematic. FWIW NCAA Stats says Hogan played 3S. Same for Deleye. |

Does anyone have any matches coming down to the wire? We're about done with week 1 with not too many matches tomorrow. I'll probably take the match v. wcdiggs, but with vup it's close. If I actually had two middles playing it probably would be a win for me, but we shall see. Also not ideal that Reagor, Rhoda, Calcagno didn't serve, but if I still walk away winning aces, I call that a win. Likely coming down to what Haworth does on Monday. The assignment is aces and blocks. |

Same crap happened last year during one of our matchups and my VCU OH was on my active roster, subbed in for 1 set, got 1 dig, and I had to count it, whereas if she didn't play at all and I got a real sub, I'd have won the match. Margins are just too close to have players you have to count but contribute nothing. |
