Ugh. KSC might’ve screwed me by playing Mruzik for only 1 set. Only 1 kill and one dig 😪

the lineup I played had been averaging 7.55 blocks per set coming into this week.
I am currently sitting at 3.8 and am in last place among the entire league.

Not familiar with those terms but what you describe sounds like Russian/man-up defense. VERY old-school (like from back when blockers couldn’t penetrate) Yes, I've heard man-up used for this before. I've only really seen it in NCAA from coaches who have some international flair to them. How is it different from rotational defense?

Rotational defense doesn't move a backrow player basically on the 10 foot line behind the block depending on where the ball is set. It can look very similar to rotational defense when the ball is set to the outside though.

In general it's the right-back player who will play behind the block (so, the setter half of the time). Their base position is to start in middle of the court directly on the ten foot line and then move in the direction of the ball.

Looks like my match with vballfan17 is still pretty open except for aces - too big of an advantage for me there. For UofAgrad, I'll take assists and blocks, everything else is still in play.
