Well apparently Babcock with only 1 ace and 2 blocks in the UMBC match (played two sets)…. That could have ended up much worse. I’ll take it.

At least I dodged that bullet with vup not playing Elgert Honestly, Elgert had two sub-average weeks. Both weeks she averaged 2.25-2.75 dps. There was no way I was playing her. I know what she's capable of and I'm glad she's back, but again, no way I was playing her after the last two weeks. Hopefully Simkins comes through for me. |

Like, ok, Miami can't pass very well and are pin dependent, that would be a reason to run a real 6-2 and let Ariana set in the backrow and hit in the front row, not ONLY set in the front row and get subbed out in the backrow. It's almost like Keno has some sort of fixation with the Texas win like because the 5-2 worked on that one day, it means it's a good system. It's not a good system for Miami's personnel, Miami just had a good couple sets and Texas made too many errors...he's being stupid and it's pissing me off. Either run a 6-2, change out your pins, or sub out the pins for DS's in the backrow to improve passing. But a 5-2 just is dumb. |

In what world does it make sense to keep her on the floor in the backrow with Ariana setting front row only? The OBVIOUS answer is to sub Lopez out and have Ariana hit! This is why anytime Miami is running a 5-2, I will be rooting for them to lose, PERIOD. |
