Why cant middles be 6 rotations? I’ll have to watch footage on her I agree with this. if she lines up as a middle and plays 6ro, she should be able to play middle. I haven’t watched her though (and may soon regret not watching her! she might be the steal of the draft so far!) Based on the play-by-play of their last match of the season, it actually seems wild what they do. Their libero goes in and out for their opposites Whitkettle and Williams. They run a 6-2 and their setters are subbing in hitters Ashley Herman & Alexa Darko with Kacia Brown and Mari Sharp playing six rotations. Based off of photos and clips, looks like when Brown is front row they move people around so she plays middle and when Sharp is in the front row they keep her mainly outside. And sometimes they keep their opposites on the left to move one of the 6-2 hitters are on the right. It’s very much a mess. I’m not trying to come for vup here but I’d thought we clarify. NMSU just wanted to break the system for us I guess.

Where one attacks from is irrelevant, or we could have argued Tealer should be right side for how many times she attacked on a high ball behind the setter.

Where one attacks from is irrelevant, or we could have argued Tealer should be right side for how many times she attacked on a high ball behind the setter. I watched a number of NMSU matches last year as Marham was on my fantasy team. They do indeed run a 6-2 . I *thought* about picking her up last year when I saw this (to add to my dig total), but the problem is that she blocks both in the middle AND on the right side, depending on the match. I definitely agree that a true middle that plays backrow should still be counted as a middle, but based on what I saw, I didn't think Brown could sufficiently claim to play a majority of her front row rotations blocking in zone 3 game in and game out enough to justify doing it last year - but that was me as an admin last year not trying to get people upset with me again over position shenanigans. FWIW, I'd put her as a MB/OH to start the year and if she goes to blocking in the middle for most of her time, then reclass her.

If someone can confirm that bibinbe MB Baylor and heath S Arizona are still available, I’ll pick them. I don’t trust VT search and am on my phone. My hands are quite literally full and it will be awhile otherwise.
Thanks in advance!
