This is awesome! I love this! Here's a look at each champion's 1st round draft pick through the years: 2022: Kendra Wait, S, Creighton the people's champion undefeated season, 2nd place 🙃

there’s only ONE (1) player I will go out kicking and screaming if I don’t get her but the only issue is she would be a REACH at my first pick so I have to hope I can reach for her a little in round 2…

The real question is how many times ay2013 and I are going to get mad at each other. We both are in the middle-ish of the draft which means a decent amount of picks go by before we pick again, and we can think the player we want will make it back to us.. In one direction, I can steal his player right before his next pick, but, the same can happen to me in the opposite direction. And guess who's right before you two? 🤗

I didnt pick a single libero until round 12 last season! Not that there is any correlation to when liberos are drafted and winning but here is the history of when the winning teams drafted their first libero 2023: Round 5 (4th Libero Drafted) 2022: Round 2 (1st Libero Drafted) 2021: Round 3 (1st Libero Drafted) 2020: Round 6 (8th Libero Drafted) 2019: Round 3 (3rd Libero Drafted) 2018: Round 4 (3rd Libero Drafted) 2017: Round 10 (21st Libero Drafted) 2016: Round 4 (3rd Libero Drafted) Rest assure I won’t be talking a libero in the 2nd round this year… not with this massive team pool. Heck, even in 2022, Story was fine but not 2nd round worthy…and it’s all Callie Martins fault. Also, macro trends over the last few seasons is that there are just fewer digs being tallied. Attackers across all conferences are just getting better/more aggressive.

Like I said no correlation but we’ll see how liberos go this year

I feel like when uofagrad gets like 8th this year we are going to see some epic meltdowns I’ve literally been mentally prepping myself all year to be okay with season 1 being beginners luck and it’s not working The secret is just to continue acting like a beginner over year..

Has the #1 draft pick team ever won it all? Or been on the podium?
