I don’t love my matchups, but I have a lot of “risks” on my bench that were unplayable plus a couple tough matchups… even still, seems like I should’ve started another pin these week *looks at Elise*

rainbowbadger Stout wasn’t dressed in their exhibition against South Carolina. I’m not sure what her status is though. vup You don’t have her in but Kacia Brown came in as a sub in their exhibition against Western New Mexico. Don’t know if was just giving time to other players but odd she came in just as a sub

rainbowbadger Stout wasn’t dressed in their exhibition against South Carolina. I’m not sure what her status is though. vup You don’t have her in but Kacia Brown came in as a sub in their exhibition against Western New Mexico. Don’t know if was just giving time to other players but odd she came in just as a sub I’m guessing Stout will be replaced by Smith (OH) theoretically, she was a S/OPP last year so technically counts for either position, so it would just depend how the sub order was ranked ? |

That's actually a fascinating hypothetical that I don't think is explicitly covered in the rules. I suppose if there was another S/Opp they would be the first sub. But without a clean sub like that, I suppose it would be the highest Setter OR Pin sub. |

But without a clean sub like that, I suppose it would be the highest Setter OR Pin sub. that was my thought process too, but one could argue that S/OPPs are forced “any” which would make it your #1 sub no matter what position they are (don’t think that’s the better option). either way, for this week, Smith is clearly the option |

They are only a forced ANY because they play more than one position. If there isn’t another S/OPP on the bench, I would think it would go to the next setter OR OH on the bench, whichever comes first.

Good to define it now, but that also makes sense.
I would guess if we allowed S/OPPs in primary positions it would be more complicated.
Coastal has two tough matches this week, without Stout they may get rolled badly (possibly even with her).

I honestly have no idea how this will go. Both my matchups played pretty close to what I thought they would positionally, but I’ve got no clue. I’m not setting my expectations very high but I’d like to cause some chaos throughout the year😂
