You can't argue with Kipp's production hitting the D-ball though! im a slide truther  and i love the slide fake and hitting the inside D that Annie Drews does (im not sure if that works with a right handed opposite) I’m fairly certain I’ve seen Thompson run it with USA before so I think it’s possible! It’s a nice combination |

Thoughts coming out of pool play (based on the sets I was able to watch and the stats ( avid 2.0 : do you have the latest VM passing scores?)): Middles - All 4 are great.
- Igeide and Morrissette looked the most impressive to the eye, but Gray is putting up great numbers, and Jimerson has been no slouch and gone on impressive serving runs.
Outsides
- RJP put the ball away and hasn't had her hitting efficiency dip below 0.200; however, she appears to have been the weaker passer of the 2 outsides every game she started.
- Winters and Eggleston have both been up and down, but Winters moreso, and Eggleston's passing has been great the whole time.
- Claire. Baby girl. Digging balls. Passing nails. Offense is nails on a chalkboard.
- I expected more from the outsides based on the level of competition.
Setters
- Gray is the overall better of the two. At times, its felt like she just spams Kipp.
- I stand by what I posted earlier: if you want to get the middles involved, EMP is the way to go.
Opposites
- Kipp > Samedy
- Samedy's a better right back defender, but that doesn't make up for the offensive boost Kipp gives.
Libero
- Fleck's the better defender.
- Sponcil's the better passer.
- The gap in defense is larger than the gap in passing.
